East Hill Residence Halls

East Hill Residence Halls will be a new, ground-up 371 bed student dormitory with first floor amenity space (lounge, gaming area, multi-purpose room, kitchenette, and laundry facilities). Nestled in native trees and plants on South Mountain, the new residence hall will bring even more vibrancy to our campus, with LEED Gold sustainability certification and a restored landscape. Designs call for new outdoor spaces and amenities that all students, regardless of residence hall assignment, will be able to enjoy in the years to come. 

 

Featuring four interconnected wings, the interior will create a welcoming inclusive sense of belonging that facilitates socialization while providing personal space. Residents will become more aware and connected with the project's place and the regional ecosystem.

 

As part of this project, University Drive will be converted to two-way traffic with site lighting, signage, pedestrian and vehicular improvements from the project site to Brodhead Avenue.
