East Hill Residence Halls

East Hill Residence Halls will be a new, ground-up 370 bed student dormitory with first floor amenity space (lounge, gaming area, multi-purpose room, kitchenette, and laundry facilities). Nestled in trees and native plants on South Mountain, the project has a LEED Silver or higher sustainability goal. The building will be fully-electrified and a high priority will be placed on occupant health and wellness.

 

Featuring four interconnected wings that take their inspiration from the four seasons in the Lehigh Valley, the interior will create a welcoming inclusive sense of belonging that facilitates socialization while providing personal space. Residents will become more aware and connected with the project's place and the regional ecosystem.

 

As part of this project, University Drive will be converted to two-way traffic with site lighting, signage, pedestrian and vehicular improvements from the project site to Brodhead Avenue.
