Central Plant Heating and Cooling
The Central Plants are two buildings on campus (both the Asa Packer and Mountaintop campuses) that provide chilled water for cooling and steam for heating. To determine what buildings on campus use steam and/or chilled water, please refer to the lists noted below for your specific building.

1) Summer reheat is the use of steam to temper cold air produced by air conditioning systems prior to circulation in the building. | |||||||
3) Gatehouse (Bldg 119), substation, and former gas house buildings do not receive steam or chilled water. | |||||||
